2012 The Huguenot Chenin Blanc - $9.99
This still white wine comes from one of the top cellars in South Africa. Winemaker Richard Duckitt crafted this fine Chenin Blanc using a special yeast to slow fermentation and matured it on its fine lees for a nutty complexity. Look forward to vibrant honeysuckle, peach, pineapple and passion fruit balanced with a fresh burst of citrus on the finish. A fine partner to foil-baked white fish or spicy Thai dishes.
2011 Ascencion Malbec - $9.99
Winning a coveted gold at the 2013 International Wine Challenge,
this full-bodied Argentine Malbec boasts attractive blackberry and plum fruit aromas, with a "supple palate and fine tannins," judges raved. A portion of the premium fruit (25%) was aged in fine French oak barrels for 9 months, imparting lovely notes of spices and subtle vanilla. Enjoy with steak for a memorable meal.
